Walking and drawing

In the workshops and courses I combine ideas and concepts from participatory projects (see Groups) with those of artistic art/cultural education and pedagogy.

Walking is a less fast-paced, but still relatively fast activity. Walking and drawing decelerates walking and stretches it. It simultaneously speeds up the actions between grasping the complexity of things and the simplification processes of drawing transmissions, interpretations, notations. It offers space for an intensification of perceptual processes that perhaps cannot unfold in such a way in other forms of movement and contexts. It is artistic practice and artistic process.

I am part of the groups. We enter into dialogues that are reflected in the choice of motifs and sometimes also in the ways in which the drawings are realised. Even if little is spoken: the communal aspects can become an essential part of the workshops and courses in terms of mental reflection and poetic experience.
